When I started Two Tone Fanatics two years ago, my influence in the Titans Twittersphere was minimal. I still did my best to choose the ten Titans Twitter accounts that I thought were must follows for anyone who followed the team, but there’s no doubt that the list then carried less weight. As my influence has grown, so has my interaction with all of you. This years list is better prepared and more thought out than all of its predecessors.
I must say that the cut down was very difficult. If you don’t see your account on this list, but think you deserve credit, there’s a very good chance that you were considered. Ultimately, the criteria came down to this: if I could only follow 10 accounts on Titans Twitter, who would they be?Without further ado, and in no particular order, here are the 10 best accounts on Titans Twitter.
Mike is a guy who’s been around Titans Twitter for a while now, but he’s sort of exploded onto the seen in the past year and a half. He’s one one of the most honest, level-headed Titans fans on Twitter. He does phenomenal work for Music City Miracles and Football and other F Words Podcast. Great insight and honest opinions are exactly what you’ll get from Mike.
Fun fact: I actually talked with Mike a couple of years ago about doing some stuff for TTF. The one that got away. SMH.
If you’re familiar with Titans Twitter, there’s not much I need to say about Matt. He seems like a great guy and is undoubtedly a Titans super fan. If you’re looking for a fun and funny follow, he’s your guy. He also works with Will Compton and Taylor Lewan on Bussin’ with the Boys. The dude is out there living the Titans fan dream.
Titans Film Room is exactly what you think the account would be. He’s also part of the Music City Miracles family and posts and breaks down film from Titans games. He seems like a really smart guy and has great insight on the film he posts. There are too many times to count that he posts something that I didn’t originally notice watching live.
Being a must follow on Titans Twitter isn’t all about film breakdown. Bonafide Bro has a great attitude about the team and has really stepped his game up in creating stuff. Some of his graphics are really cool. Mostly, though, the guy is a die hard fan with great opinions. Great opinions doesn’t mean always agreeing, but believing and having evidence to back them up. BonafideBro is a wonderful follow.
Other than the fact that we share a name (mine’s with a y), I feel that Tres and I share a lot of the same philosophical beliefs with the Titans. Obviously we don’t agree on everything, as nobody should, but the style is definitely similar. Tres has been around for a while, but he’s another person that has made a leap this year. His content has really ramped up on ChattTennSports and he’s a great Twitter follow!
Joe has been around a long time. He’s formerly @TitansWycheck89 (love the Wycheck fandom) and has a great historical perspective of the team. He and I have gone back and forth on Mariota a lot, but I respect his opinion greatly. He’s a great follow.
Side note: we may or may not have something cooking up for the near future
Bryce has taken a lot of heat for his position on Mariota lately, but there’s no question that he’s one of the most entertaining dudes on Titans Twitter. I personally respect his willingness to speak his mind, regardless of who disagrees with him. When the Titans aren’t playing well, he’s going to let them hear about it in the funniest way possible. Hopefully we don’t have too many rants this year, but if we do, he will deliver.
Titans Tape is another that wasn’t on the list last year, but is absolutely crushing it in 2019. He’s the third and final member of Music City Miracles on the list (great job guys). He has great insight on the team and puts together really good video threads of film breakdown. He’s quickly become a must follow for Titans fans.
Easily one of the most knowledgeable Titans fans on Twitter. While his follower count is not the highest (maybe this will change that!) Kaleb has great opinions with facts to back them up. I enjoy all of my interactions with Kaleb on Twitter and you will too. He’s not afraid to speak his mind, but has a very reasonable mindset towards the team. Great follow.
This is easily the most controversial account on the list, because Howie is highly controversial, but I love following him. His sometimes outside the box takes aren’t for everyone, but there are often truths found in them, and he’s great to debate with. There is no way that Howie isn’t a great dude in real life, too, which is a big plus.
